‘IMT ist der Dienstleister unserer Wahl’
‘Wintershall produziert Öl und Gas auf der Nordsee. Unser Auftrag ist, für unsere Produktionspartner und Kunden der bevorzugte Dienstleister zu sein. Wo andere Produzenten aufhören, pumpen wir die Felder zo weit wie möglich leer auf möglichst geringe Kosten. Das kann man nur machen wenn eine Bohrinsel optimal funktioniert mit möglichst wenig Stopps und Außerbetriebsetzungen. Deshalb müssen wir keine Sorgen haben über Sachen, die nicht unmittelbar mit der Produktion verbunden sind, wie die Beleuchtung. Also wenden wir möglichst viele IQL-Beleuchtungskörper an. Die hängt man auf, und erst wenn eine Bohrinsel jemals demontiert werden muss, werden die Beleuchtungskörper wieder heruntergeholt und möglicherweise wieder benutzt.
Unsere Bohrinseln sind meist unbemannt dank unserer weitreichenden Automatisierung. Wen Leute nach einer unbemannten Bohrinsel gehen, muss die Beleuchtung bei Einschaltung bestimmt funktionieren. Das ist der Grund warum alle unseren Bohrinseln mit IQL-Beleuchtung von IMT ausgestattet sind. Die funktioniert ja immer. Sogar unter den extremen Umständen auf offener See, wie hohe Feuchtigkeit, Schwingungen, große Temperaturschwankungen, Salz und UV-Strahlung. Darüber hinaus erreichen wir mit weniger Energie denselben Lichtoutput. Die IMT-Orientierungsbeleuchtung ist sogar so super hell, dass die direkt ins Auge springt wenn man über der Nordsee fliegt.
Unsere älteste IQL-Beleuchtungskörper, rote Hindernisbefeuerung aus 1988, funktioniert noch immer, ohne Probleme. Die Kombination von angepasster ‘sealed for life’-Elektronik, Edelstahl und Kristallglas macht IQL dauerhaft und zuverlässig ohnegleichen. Wartung ist kaum nötig, sodass wir gefährliche Situationen verhindern können wenn wir versuchen, Beleuchtungskörper zu erreichen, und dabei stark sparen auf Gerüstbau und Zeit. Wenn wir eine Bohrinsel bauen oder verbauen, machen wir das am liebsten gleich am ersten Mal richtig, weil Änderungen besonders teuer sind. Ich wollte, dass ich IQL selber ausgefunden hätte. IMT ist der Dienstleister unserer Wahl.’
