1984 - Incorporation of IMT B.V. (trading in explosion proof materials and lighting).
1988 - Investment in production facility (luminaires) and engineering department
(control systems).
1994 - Introduction of patented “Sealed4Life” extremely long lifetime lighting system:
the IMT - IQL.
1999 - Incorporation of IMT GmbH – Germany.
2002 - Introduction of products into the Belgian and UK market.
2005 - Change of owners/directors
2006 - Market introduction of lighting control systems and LED luminaires.
2007 - Expansion of distribution in the Middle and Far East markets.
2008 - Investment in our own extensive R&D facilities.
Incorporation of IMT Lighting UK Ltd - England
2009 - IMT celebrates its 25th anniversary
2010 - Incorporation of IMT Far East, IMT headquarters in the Netherlands moves from Spijk to new production facilities at Culemborg.
2011 - New product introductions based on ILED® and IQL® technology, Internal Illuminated Windsock, General and Obstruction Emergency Lighting - with replaceable battery pack, Second generation ILED® obstruction and marine lights for navigational systems.
