Environmental friendly lighting

There is an ever increasing awareness of the need to be more responsible in how we use the raw materials and energy of our environment. IMT have long been sensitive and committed to the use of light sources with the highest quality and the lowest energy consumption.

You can switch IMT lighting on and off repeatedly, without causing any wear & tear or excessive use of energy. The extremely long lifetime of the light sources also means that fewer raw materials are used in manufacturing production, and because the light sources need far fewer inspections and maintenance, you will also reduce CO2 emissions. Furthermore, 92% of the parts of the luminaires are recyclable, meaning that only 0.8% per year over a 10 year operating period is lost.

But we are working on this and so the research team of IMT are constantly searching for new sustainable lighting concepts, such as the application of LED lighting in extreme conditions and locations. This research is done in close co-operation with suppliers, knowledge institutes and
you - our customers.
